Not a hater, but if one of those glow sticks clogs up my intake after this, I'm throwing a grenade.

I'm looking at renting a place on Lake Anna in late September, but I have never been. It is my understanding that you cannot get from the private/warm side to the public/cold side by boat. Is that true? We would be looking to rent a boat, so it would seem that could not be done if we rented on the private side because all the marinas are on the public side. Also, is the water usually warm enough on the cold side to swim in late September? What about the warm side?

We happen to live in Tara Woods, which is adjacent to "Both Waters". While it is true that you cannot get from side to side by boat, if you rent a place in "Both Waters" you will have access to both sides. They have dual slips / marinas.
In Late September on either side you will only need a wetsuit if the air temperature is chilly. Lake on the cold side will be in the upper 70s to 80, and the warm side will be a lot warmer.
October is when the cold side starts to get a little chilly.Skydiving used to be my life.......
Now I have a boat so I can't afford it anymore.
