Finally got it turned on and she runs!

Had a little bit of coolant leaking and an oil leak in one of the transmission hoses but other than that it seems to run perfectly. I just turned it on using s hose. Next I need to align it and put it in the water.

I would remove that metal frame and get it powder coated. I wish I had done this with mine, while my boat was beeing restored.

Scotty it’s been so long. Took a break from working on the boat. I ended up ordering a whole nw dash with new gauges and switches from Great Lakes skipper as the existing on as in bad shape, a few gauges were broken and most of the switches were broken.

I also just finished replacing the factory muffler with inline stainless steel silencers. Still haven’t turned it on so hopefully it’s not too much louder. I wasn’t happy with the way the new risers fit with the factory muffler.

Still need to align the engine, give the boat another good cleaning and install the gator step.

Boat is finally done (well 99 percent). It looks great and is working perfectly. Almost everything is new. New long block, new mother mounts, exhaust, transmission, gauges, dash, speakers. It has been a tone of work.

I had redone most of the vinyl in like 2011 so it is not original. I was able to clean it up nicely. The sun bad prices are tearing at the seams though. I am going to try and stitch them up.
