Dual Suckgates

Is anybody trying the dual suckgate trend now? I have an X2 and have been pretty happy with the swell slim just wondering if anyone has experimented with using 2 of them.

Same here.

I tried two Nauticurl on my 205v variant. It definitely made the wave bigger but it didnt have any push.

some guys on another forum suggested running one on the side and one underneath. Sort of trying to replicate the Nautique NSS style system where it deploys sideways and outwards.

I didn't try it underneath. I tried them staggered and it was terrible. My only wish is that the pocket was longer. Otherwise, I'm happy with mine.

I'll probably pick one up and give it a try. Worst case I can always return it

thats a big negative, not going to work
gates are meant to yaw the boat and gen2, gsa, supra, flippers will list, little gate will not have enough surface area and are at a wrong angle to list correctly

We've been using both the Slim and the 2.0 Swell on our 2011 X25 at the same time. We have 710 lb bags in the rear locker and we find the Slim is now too deep in the water and the regular Swell is out of the water too much.

I tried adding a UHMW cutting board to the face of the Swell 2.0 to get the face of the device a bit deeper in the water, but the suction cups wouldn't hold it in place.
