Stereo and amp -what should I buy? Help me

so in another post I described that some Ahole(s) stole my head unit, amp and a couple of speakers from my 07 X2 (stock Clarion head unit and stock JL Audio speakers). They left two speakers up front and all four speakers on the tower (scared off by something , too difficult to get to?).

Right now I am not looking to replace the two speakers in the cabin, just the head unit and amp.

Speakers I do have I believe are all JL Audio with 100 RMS,

Looking for recommendations on what to buy, keeping in mind I am looking for :
- ease of installation
- obvious improvement over 2007 technology (Fade/zone control and bluetooth minimally)
- any necessary things like wiring and maybe a new installed remote by throttle
- keep cost reasonable, means different things to different people but maybe $700-$1000

My initial search results :
https://www.crutchfield.com/p_020M608/Clarion-M608.html for $379 or
https://www.crutchfield.com/p_020M508/Clarion-M508.html for $189 or
something altogether different brand or whatever (open to suggestions)

amp:
does amp RMS have to be equal or less than speakers' RMS? Not my knowledge wheelhouse
help me on this for sure ?

Hope to pull trigger today or tomorrow!

No. An amplifier RMS specification can exceed the speaker RMS limit and the output on the amplifier can be turned down to meet the tuning needs of the speaker.

Look around on Sonic Electronix dot com. They are pretty good to deal with and often have better prices.

Stereo and amp -what should I buy? Help me

I dont know if this may be an option or something you would consider, but I am removing all factory Polk audio from my Supra, including head unit, amps and sub.
Id sell you the entire package if interested.
Speakers are MM651, total quantity of 10.
10 subwoofer
5 channel and 2 channel Polk audio amps.

In near brand new condition.

For upgrades I went with 6 revo6 Wetsounds, 2 rev410, ws420bt, 2 15 DC audio woofers and wetsounds sinister amps.

Let me know, be glad to help out if I can

I think Blackhawk has new/used M606 for $120 + shipping. For that kind of money as long as shipping isn't bad I'd go with that unless you're looking for the latest and greatest.

ON the amps.... you really end to plot out an end plan and figure out your budget and how you plan to connect everything before going too far. JL is the standard for many boats and was for yours but the new amps will set you back on your heels. The 400/4 and 600/6 were most popular and did about 75 watts RMS into 8 ohms per channel which was a pretty good match for the speakers.

Past these very general statements let the holy wars on the "right" wattage, amps and personal loyalties begin....
